We’re sustainable

Unlike some companies, we don’t want to just tick the box of ‘eco-tourism’

Sustainability is our way of life, which is why we have taken the Green Growth Pledge.

  • We buy local and choose suppliers with ethical practices.
  • All of the produce that we sell on the farm is produced locally.
  • We upcycle where we can, and recycle where we can’t. We’re currently making a greenhouse from recycled water bottles! Our aim is to ensure that no waste goes to a landfill.
  • We are also passionate about biodiversity.
  • Renewable energy is our priority.
  • We provide services to other alpaca owners and breeders, which will increase the amount of alpaca fleece that can be produced locally – it is a much more sustainable option than sheep’s wool.

Things to do Pembrokeshire

Pembrokeshire is the most beautiful place on earth

Okay, so we’re a bit biased. But there is a reason that so many people visit the stunning county of Pembrokeshire every year. We are on the doorstep of five Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we have three National Parks of distinctive character, and there is the phenomenal Wales Coast Path. There’s really nowhere like it on Earth.

You’re going to go home feeling totally refreshed

Unsurprisingly, holidaying in the UK seems like the better option at the moment. Not only is it less stressful, but you can feel much better about your carbon footprint!

Spending some quality time out in nature means you can take that feeling of relaxation back with you. Our fabulous feel-good factors:

  • Being around alpacas is great for your mental wellbeing, so you can de-stress while you’re with us.

  • You can get plenty of fresh air and exercise. We are within an alpaca’s spit of the spectacular (and whoppingly long 870-mile) Wales Coast Path. If you’re a keen walker, look no further. Not quite up for a mega hike? Join our daily alpaca walks around the farm

  • Refresh your mind by switching off from the daily grind. Forget all your day-to-day hustle and bustle (or boredom!) and get back to nature.

You’ll get up close and personal with our alpacas

Our alpacas are as close as you can get (well, without being snuggled up in bed with you – they’re partial to their own beds). We have the largest herd of black huayaca alpacas in Wales – plenty of new friends for you to get to know!

We’ll teach you everything you need to know about these amazing animals, and you can even take them for a walk. If you camp with us, you’ll find the alpacas right outside your tent door – not down a track and around the corner.

You can visit us all year round

Summer, spring and autumn. Why would you go anywhere but beautiful Wales?

But winter? Are you mad? Well, maybe a little, but we’re definitely not mad when we say that Wales is a fantastic place for a winter holiday.

The winter scenery in Pembrokeshire is spectacular. And unlike in the other seasons, you can have it almost to yourselves!
